About me

I’m a senior associate in the transactional team in Piraeus, specialising in non-contentious matters.

I advise financial institutions and shipowners on vessel financings, sale and purchase transactions, escrow arrangements and corporate structuring. In addition, I provide legal support on Marshall Islands and Liberian law through our offshore jurisdictions team.

In a sector where quality and promptness are paramount, I aim to be recognised for my professionalism, responsiveness and ability to deliver clear and tailored advice. My approach focuses on understanding client needs, building strong working relationships and creating a collaborative environment.

I hold a degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Athens, an LLB from Swansea University and an LLM in Maritime Law from the University of Southampton.

Outside of work, I greatly enjoy spending time with close friends and people who have a good sense of humour.

My experience

  • Representing major Greek banks on separate secured facilities for the financing of vessels’ acquisition and the refinancing of existing indebtedness.
  • Acting for a major Cypriot bank on a security backed facility involving corporate structure changes of the borrowing entities.
  • Advising several foreign financiers on the offshore legal aspects of multi-million deals including several ships’ re-flaggings and changes of management.
