About me

I’m an expert in inquests, inquiries and patient safety governance matters.

I act for a wide range of public and private health care providers including NHS trusts, independent healthcare organisations and mental healthcare providers.

My role is to make complex legal processes easy to navigate, working alongside to support clients at every stage so they can act with confidence and secure the right outcome.

I’m experienced in supporting clients through complex inquest proceedings, helping them understand their legal obligations, navigate scrutiny and demonstrate robust decision-making.

I’m not just here to support my clients – I’m here to support their people too and I’m known for my ability to help witnesses develop calm, evidence-based answers during court proceedings.

It’s a privilege to do what I do. I consider it meaningful that through my work, I play a role in helping clients improve safety for their patients and employees.

Outside of work, I enjoy long distance running and travelling.

My experience

  • Represented an NHS Trust in a high-profile long-running maternity inquest
  • Part of the team representing the Countess of Chester NHS Foundation Trust in the Thirlwall Inquiry
  • Client secondments to Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust and Mid Cheshire NHS Foundation Trust
