About me
I’m a taxation specialist and my role is to assist clients in reducing their UK taxation exposure, whether that’s in relation to income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax or other taxation issues.
My clients are mainly individuals, but I also advise a number of corporate clients.
Clients can be surprised to find that I’m not actually a lawyer, I’m a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser. But, having built my career working extensively in both accountancy and legal practices, I’ve gained a wide and unique perspective, which I use to good advantage in addressing the issues my clients need addressing as well providing them with more generic tax advice.
My approach is to be relaxed and welcoming – and I certainly always try and listen before I speak. For me, the ability to put my clients’ minds at rest regarding their situation and to help them reduce their exposure to tax as far as possible is certainly the most rewarding part of the job.
My experience
