About me
As Head of our Piraeus office and Global Head of International Finance, I specialise in shipping transactions and finance. I advise shipowners, managers and financial institutions on everything from ship sale and purchase, leasing and shipbuilding to joint ventures, private equity transactions, corporate restructurings, cross-border insolvency and sanctions.
After almost 20 years in the Greek market, I combine legal and technical expertise with a commercial understanding of the sector, helping clients close high-value, high-stakes deals with clarity and confidence. My approach is hands-on, pragmatic and focused on results.

Since taking on my leadership role in 2020, I’m proud to have grown the office into Greece’s leading full-service shipping law firm.
Away from shipping law, I focus on giving back whenever possible, including supporting a local girls’ orphanage and grassroots sports clubs in Athens. It keeps me connected to what really matters.
My experience
- Advising on the sale and purchase, delivery and registration of second-hand vessels and newbuilding vessels.
- Advising on the acquisition and financing of a significant fleet of second-hand and newbuilding container vessels for an international container line now valued above US$2.1billion.
- Advising on shipbuilding contracts for vessels constructed in China, South Korean, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Argentina and Paraguay in respect of a wide variety of sectors, including dry bulk vessels, crude tankers, product tankers, chemical tankers, bitumen carriers, cement carriers and container vessels.
- Advising on the issuance of €60,000,000 senior secured call-able bonds in the Nordic high yield bond market for a UK based cruise company.
- Advising on the acquisitions of five containership vessels (totalling to more than US$500,000,000), including advising on the sale and leaseback arrangements for the acquisition of the vessels with a US private equity fund.
