About me
My role is to secure favourable outcomes for clients in shipping and commodities disputes.
I’m experienced in advising on disputes relating to charterparties as well as sale and purchase contracts. I’ve also acted for clients in complex fraud litigation proceedings.
I represent a broad range of clients in the commodities space, including some of the world’s leading commodities and energy trading companies, as well as shipowners and charterers.
I bring the best of myself to every case I take on, offering the commercial know-how, strategic focus and legal knowledge clients can rely on to make smart choices.
Challenges don’t faze me. I genuinely enjoy taking on difficult disputes and I have a talent for finding effective legal arguments that lead to successful outcomes, while always keeping costs in mind.
Wherever I can, I take the time to support and uplift others. I’m a member of our firm’s neurodiversity networking group and I’ve also contributed to various pro bono schemes.
My experience
- I was seconded to a state-owned energy trading house in the UAE.
- I’ve worked on a case where a client’s ship was stolen and returned.
- I’ve been involved in a case that proceeded to the Supreme Court.
