About me
I’m an Associate in Hill Dickinson’s Hong Kong office, specialising in ship financing, ship sale and purchase, secured lending and banking.
I represent a wide range of clients, including shipowners, leasing companies, banks and financial institutions. I enjoy building trusted relationships and take a proactive approach, aiming to gain a detailed understanding of what it is our clients want to achieve and applying commercial acumen to provide considered advice and guidance.
I joined the firm in July 2024, so like to think I bring a fresh perspective and new ideas. Prior to qualifying, I studied mainly in Hong Kong with a year in Sheffield, UK, visiting Beijing and Toronto for summer schools.
My experience
- Advised a Taiwan international bank in ship financing for two vessels with a total amount involved exceeded USD80 million.
- Advised a major Chinese leasing company on several sale-and-leaseback transactions for various vessels, including a vessel with a price of US$18 million.
- Advised and represented shipowners in various sale and purchase of vessels. Responsibilities included daily correspondence with shipowners and brokers, drafting and reviewing delivery documents and advising shipowners on delivery matters.
- Advised an international bank on LIBOR-SOFR remediation exercise relating to loan facilities.
- Assisted a global ship management group in redrafting its shareholders’ agreement.
