I’m a specialist in energy law and commercial transactions.
I advise private companies on oil, gas, renewables, recycling, farming and manufacturing, as well as state-owned companies on power and nuclear energy.
I’m adept at supporting clients through the energy transition, helping them navigate decarbonisation, regulatory change, technology development and shifting market dynamics.

Having worked in-house, as well as for state-owned and private companies, in both the US and South Korea, I understand how organisations make decisions and manage risk. This allows me to anticipate stakeholder priorities and find workable solutions that are legally and commercially robust.

My experience
- Advising and negotiating LNG sale and purchase agreements and related documentation for state-owned, quasi-government entities and private companies, with a strong focus on risk allocation, pricing mechanisms, and operational flexibility.
- Providing strategic legal support to major construction and engineering companies on EPC contracts, including contract structuring, key commercial terms, claims management, and dispute prevention.
- Advising on complex termination scenarios across a wide range of commercial contracts, including default analysis, termination rights, damages exposure and settlement strategy.
- Supporting clients on nuclear-related projects and contracting matters, including project documentation, regulatory considerations and cross-border risk management.
- Advising on renewable energy projects and contracts, including project development, offtake arrangements and commercial negotiations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Advising on energy transitions including waste-to-energy, recycling, and circular economy projects, with a focus on bankability, compliance and long-term commercial viability.
