About me

I’m a Partner in Hill Dickinson’s Employment and Education team, based in Liverpool. I specialise in education, safeguarding, charity law and data protection, advising academy trusts, maintained and independent schools, faith bodies and further education colleges across the UK.

My area of expertise includes governance, admissions, exclusions, SEND law, Ofsted challenges, equality and harassment claims, and data compliance. I also support charities and religious institutions on regulatory matters and complaints, offering practical solutions in high-stakes or sensitive situations.

Clients trust me to work as an extension of their team, strategic, responsive and outcome-focused. I’ve supported schools through complex judicial reviews and regularly advise on Education Health and Care Plan disputes and faith-based admissions.

The Legal 500 recognises me as a key lawyer for education. I began my career as a paralegal at the firm and was made partner seven years after qualifying.

Outside work, I’m an ABBA fan and once road-tripped the East Coast of the US and Canada.
