About me
I bring over 35 years’ experience in complex personal injury and industrial disease claims to my role as head of our PI, Travel and Regulatory team. My focus is on claims involving high-value or multi-party litigation, or arbitration, for clients spanning shipping, travel, ports and factories.
I regularly attend ports and vessels to carry out post-accident investigations and liaise with the HSE, MAIB, MCA and police. My experience ranges from fatal claims, sexual assaults and psychiatric injuries to industrial disease cases such as asbestos and vibration-related conditions.
Clients describe me as approachable, practical and effective. What I find most rewarding is helping to resolve complex, high-profile matters; be that through early settlement, strong defense, or achieving the right outcome in court.
In my free time, you’re likely to find me playing tennis, running, at the gym or reading

- Worked with major cruise, ferry and Ro-Ro operators
- Successful defence on HSE prosecution on behalf of Seatruck Ferries Ltd
- Represented the owners and insurers of the Bowbelle on all the injury and fatal claims arising out of the Bowbelle/Marchioness collision
- Represented yacht and fishing boat owners on civil claims and criminal prosecutions
