About me
I’m a legal director in our Commercial Dispute Resolution team, acting for both individuals and businesses across a wide range of industry sectors.
Throughout my career, I’ve gained significant experience in broad aspects of Commercial Litigation, acting for claimants and defendants in high-value and complex matters. I also have particular expertise in civil fraud, occupation, TOLATA disputes and rectification and restoration claims, together with sport disputes. I’m a member of the firm’s specialist Retail and Leisure sector team.
My aim in taking on any new case is to make a tangible difference, ensuring my clients find themselves in a better set of circumstances than before they received my advice. With that in mind, I seek to provide clear, pragmatic and commercial advice with a view to achieving the best possible outcome for the client, whether that’s via ADR or robust representation through the courts.

My experience
- Athena Capital Fund SICAV-FIS S.C.A. & Others v Secretariat of State for the Holy See [2025] EWHC 355 (Comm) - Acted for the Secretariat of State of the Holy See in proceedings brought by Raffaele Mincione and his companies in what was a significant and high-profile trial. The Daily Telegraph described the dispute as the trial of the century and the case was one of The Lawyer magazine’s Top 20 Cases of 2024.
- Quinn Infrastructure Services Limited v (1) Stephen Sullivan (2) Steven Cairns (3) IT Excellence UK Limited (4) ITXL Software Limited [2019] EWHC 2863 (Comm) - Acted for a supplier of telecom services in an alleged million pound breach of contract claim which involved allegations of deceit and conspiracy. Resulted in a 11-day trial in the High Court.
- Acted for a PLC in multiple, high-value breach of contract claims in both the High Court and Arbitration proceedings relating to the supply of biomass fuel.
- Acted for an individual in High Court proceedings to obtain declaratory relief in respect of his beneficial interest in a property.
- Acted for a company to recover significant sums of money after it fell victim to a fraudulent telephone banking scam.
- Enforced a FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber award against a European club while acting for a professional footballer.
