About me
I’m a specialist in employment law.
I advise on various day-to-day matters such as contract terms and conditions, disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, long-term sickness absences and restrictive covenants. Along with this, I’m experienced in supporting businesses through the restructuring process.
I work with a wide range of employers, including large organisations, both in the UK and across the world. The kinds of clients I support span various sectors from media, sport and entertainment to leisure and hospitality, consumer goods, life sciences, food and retail.
My role is to help clients navigate complex and often sensitive employment issues with confidence. I combine strong technical knowledge with a client-focused approach, making sure the client not only understands their legal position, but how to reach the most effective commercial outcome.
Throughout my career I’ve been involved in a range of social mobility initiatives, helping students from underrepresented backgrounds pursue careers in the legal profession.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, reading and taking long walks.
My experience
- Successfully defended multiple applications for interim relief, including for a well-known consumer goods client and for a social media platform
- Acted for a top-flight football team in defending an arbitration relating to a debt claim
- Managed employment tribunal litigation involving discrimination (including sex, race and disability), whistleblowing, unfair dismissal, equal pay and breach of contract
- Supported an investigation into allegations of misconduct and inappropriate behaviour against a senior employee
