About me

I’m a commercial litigator who represents businesses, public sector bodies and individuals. The kinds of matters I support on include breach of contract claims, professional negligence, public procurement disputes, defamation and reputation protection, company disputes, judicial reviews and public inquiries.

I’m particularly experienced in handling contentious intellectual property matters and disputes in the higher education, healthcare and pensions sectors. I help clients in bringing and defending court applications and claims, as well as resolving matters as quickly as possible at a pre-action stage or through alternative dispute resolution.

Clients value my diligence, thoroughness and flexibility. I get to the heart of commercial and reputational drivers quickly, giving strategic advice on both legal issues and risk vs. reward. I tailor my support to the situation and who we’re dealing with, so my clients feel confident moving forward.

I find problem solving really rewarding. There are rarely simple answers to commercial disputes, so it becomes all the more satisfying when we reach a favourable conclusion.

Nurturing the next generation of legal talent is a priority for me. I’m heavily involved in the firm’s CSR initiatives, especially volunteering and mentoring, having served as a volunteer mentor through the Social Mobility Foundation and its Aspiring Professionals Programme since 2018.
