I advise clients on a range of corporate transactions, including private company M&A, corporate reorganisations and private equity investments as well as corporate governance and general corporate and commercial matters.
I also have experience advising institutional investors, founders and management teams on transactions such as buyouts, sale and auction processes, portfolio management and providing support throughout the investment life cycle of an investment, including the delivery of buy-and-build M&A strategies.
My approach to working with clients is to be personable, honest and helpful. I keep things as simple and straightforward as possible, prioritising clear communication and listening well. I enjoy getting into the detail to understand how a business works and what motivates business owners and managers.

My experience
- Advised the shareholders of venture capital firm Praetura Ventures on its merger with Par Equity to form PXN Group, a new £670 million venture capital and investment firm with a focus on supporting high-growth businesses and entrepreneurs across the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
- Acted for Forward Travel, an Arete portfolio company, on the acquisition of Find A Golf Break and completion of a £2 million new funding package to fund and drive further growth plans.
- Advised Lancashire-based J2 Flooring on its acquisition of VAR Technology, a specialist in precision cutting and customised luxury vinyl tiles. The deal marks a significant milestone in its long-term growth plans.
