About me
I’m a health employment law expert who predominantly advises NHS clients on a range of issues from TUPE, breach of contract, redundancy and unfair dismissals to discrimination and whistleblowing.
I have significant experience of handling complex, high-value and multi-day tribunal cases, including to appeal. I also advise HR teams and boards on the disciplining and dismissal of doctors and executives, and I have a wealth of experience in executing bespoke termination and settlement deals.
Clients describe me as supportive, open, warm, compassionate and reassuring. I’m a safe pair of hands, acting as the trusted adviser my clients need to reach the best possible outcomes. I work closely with clients to find cost-effective solutions that safeguard their interests, comply with governance and meet their boarder commercial aims.
I’m a CIArb qualified mediator, giving me the ability to help settle any civil and commercial disputes. I also mediate workplace disputes that involve the breakdown of working relationships.
I’m an animal lover and I also believe it’s important to give back where you can, so it won’t surprise you to learn that I’m a volunteer for the Ark Angels animal rescue charity.
