About me
I’m a specialist in legal costs, focusing particularly on defendant work. With considerable experience, I support NHS Resolution clients on a range of matters, from managing risks and cost budgeting to negotiations, settlement parameters, alternative dispute resolution and litigation.
Clients describe me as sensible, reliable and easy to work with. My role is to be the safe pair of hands my clients need to see them through from beginning to end, providing the pragmatic advice required to address risk and bring about compromise, ensuring they achieve their commercial aims.
Wherever possible, my goal is to resolve the matter as quickly and cost-effectively as possible. Should litigation be necessary, I leave no stone unturned, taking all necessary steps to ensure the case presented to the court is watertight, maximising the potential of reaching a successful verdict.
My experience
- Experience in working with commercial clients and other large insurers.
- Experience in case and costs management as well as back-end negotiations and have advised on the benefits of early resolution and ADR.
- Organised and assisted in settlement meetings and ADR with large Claimant firms.
- Experience in handling technical and large value matters (exceeding £1 million).
