My expertise lies in defending clinical negligence cost claims, particularly those that are high-value and technically challenging. I specialise in representing clients in the healthcare sector, working primarily with NHS Resolution, and I also have experience advising clients from other sectors.
I’m someone my clients can trust to represent their interests and get the job done, providing the commercially sound advice they need to manage risk and secure the best result.
My experience sets me apart, as I have been involved with a number of projects relating to quality, compliance and JSMs and also worked in house at defendant and claimant firms. This gives me a strong foundation of technical expertise, that I can draw upon to guide my clients in the right direction.
Supporting the growth of emerging legal professionals is a key priority for me.
My experience
- I’m a qualified Cost Lawyer, regulated by the CLSB.
- I predominantly work on clinical negligence claims, the main client being NHS Resolution.
- I have experience handling technically complex and high value matters, including group action claims.
- I oversee quality and compliance across the team.
- I’m involved in several projects, including JSMs and MI collation. I have set up JSMs for various opponents.
- I graduated from Durham University with a Masters in Mathematics (MMath).
