About me
I bring over 30 years’ experience to my role in our Manchester Real Estate team. This includes advising on all aspects of commercial property, and specialising in large-scale regeneration, joint ventures and development projects. My particular focus has been on mixed-use and place-making schemes.
I’ve acted for developers and private sector clients on landmark projects across the UK, including a £1bn regeneration scheme in Manchester’s Ancoats and New Islington districts. Calm and detail-focused approach, I drive complex deals to completion with clarity and care.
Ranked in the Chambers UK Band 1 and Legal 500 Hall of Fame, I’m also known for strong negotiation skills and understanding what really matters to a project’s success.
Beyond work, I’m a trustee at Shevington Sharks rugby club and a school governor. My most memorable trip was a solo Greyhound journey across the US at 20, culminating at the Grand Canyon at sunset. Unforgettable.
My experience
- Acting for the developer in a long-standing collaboration with Manchester City Council to deliver approximately £1 billion of residential led regeneration to transform the Ancoats and New Islington areas of Manchester.
- Advising the developer on the sale and forward funding agreement with an investment fund managed by CBRE Investment Management Limited for a new-build 196 private residential unit apartment block near Manchester City Centre.
