About me
I’m a Partner in Hill Dickinson’s Marine and Trade team, based in London and Piraeus. With 50 years of experience, I specialise in major marine casualties, including salvage, collisions, wreck removal, pollution, general average and distressed cargo matters.
My clients include leading salvors, shipowners, P&I clubs and insurers, all of whom value my commercial approach, rapid response and practical insight in crisis situations. I’ve been involved in many of the most significant cases in recent years and regularly advise on high-profile LOF and SCOPIC salvage claims.
I’m also a CEDR-accredited mediator and recognised thought leader in the field, having presented on landmark decisions including the “RENOS” and the “LONGCHAMP”. I’ve written extensively on salvage law reform and led industry debate on evolving commercial salvage models such as ‘LOF Light’.
Whether on the scene of an incident or at the negotiating table, I focus on solving problems and protecting my clients’ interests efficiently.
