About me
I’m a healthcare and public law specialist who works with NHS trusts.
Currently, I’m completing a secondment at The Northern Care Alliance, supporting them by investigating the deaths of patients and representing the Trust and its staff at inquests.
I bring a professional, knowledgeable and down-to-earth approach, offering clear guidance and robust support while remaining calm under pressure, so I can be the trusted partner my clients need.
The relationships I build are critical to what I do. I connect with people genuinely, with empathy and care, giving them the confidence they need to play their part in proceedings. I find it truly rewarding to support clinicians at inquests, as I know it can be a stressful and daunting time for them.
Making the healthcare system the best it can possible be is a priority for me. I feel privileged that in my role, I help shape meaningful changes in policy and clinical work that positively impact patients.
Sustainability is another priority for me, and I like to get involved in our firm’s initiatives in this area.
My experience
- Has been involved in compiling a thematic review regarding multiple prison deaths.

- On secondment, works closely with the governance department to understand investigations into patient experience and patient death.
- Represents the NCA by attending inquests with clinicians, making legal submissions on behalf of the Trust and providing support for the witnesses.
