About me

I’m a specialist in commercial and intellectual property law.

I advise on supply of goods and services contracts, terms of business, and the licensing and distribution of intellectual property. I also support on issues relating to brand protection (e.g. trade mark applications) as well as advertising standards and compliance with consumer laws.

I work with business of all sizes, from start-ups and SMEs to large corporations, across a range of sectors including retail and leisure, marketing, and technology. I’m experienced in acting for both established franchisors and businesses that are looking to expand by franchising their brand.

I take the time to understand a client’s business and how they approach commercial arrangements, so I can provide the best service possible. I pride myself on my ability to deliver legally robust, pragmatic advice that clients can use to protect their position and achieve their ambitions.

I’m committed to giving back, and in the past I’ve contributed to a Manchester-based university’s pro bono initiative. Outside of work, I enjoy running and socialising with friends.
