About me

I lead Hill Dickinson’s Birmingham Corporate team and head up our Birmingham office. With over two decades of transactional experience, I advise corporates, management teams, investors and entrepreneurs on mergers, acquisitions, fundraisings and restructurings, often involving private equity.

Clients trust me to bring clarity and pace to complex deals. My approach is commercial, pragmatic and built on experience. This helps clients navigate their options, solve problems quickly, and get deals done with confidence.

I’ve acted on all aspects of corporate transactions, from leveraged buyouts to serial acquisitions, including work for Phenna Group, Acorn Capital Management and numerous private equity-backed investments. I’m known for building strong, focused teams that work collaboratively across disciplines.

Outside of the office, I’m passionate about mountain walking and am often outdoors, as a volunteer instructor for the RAF Air Cadets, or supervising and assessing expeditions for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

My experience

  • Advised Acorn Capital Management on leveraged buy-outs of Aerospares 2000, Sentry Aerospace and Eirtrade.
  • Advised Phenna Group (backed by Oakley Capital) on serial acquisitions.
  • Advised regional accountancy practices BK Plus and Dains on their private equity investments from Palatine Private Equity and Horizon Capital.
  • Advised Knights Pharmacies on serial acquisitions.
  • Advised minority shareholder of Healthnet Homecare on investment by CBPE.
