About me

I support clients with Corporate, Commercial and Shipping law.

My client base includes ship owners, operators and builders, along with banks, financial institutions, commodity traders, cargo firms, businesses in the energy sector and offshore companies. My practice is international, and I work with clients located worldwide.

I see it as my role to help clients navigate complex transactions and move forward with confidence. I bring together a strong commercial mindset with deep expertise in maritime law, international trade and finance, enabling me to deliver strategic solutions for clients in any situation.

I’m here to help clients face them head on, while keeping the broader goal in mind, to bring about impactful outcomes.

My role involves helping clients handle complex, cross-border transactions in a fast-paced, globally connected industry. I enjoy seeing the impact that providing clear, strategic legal advice can have, empowering clients to achieve success in the long term.

My experience

  • Advised on acquisition, sale and leaseback transaction involving a VLOC portfolio, including purchase options, refinancing and full support on delivery, flag registration and security documentation.
  • Advised on the sale, purchase, and chartering of a bulk carrier portfolio, leading negotiations and managing the full suite of transactional, delivery and registry documentation through to successful completion.
  • Advised on the sale of an LNG RoPax ferry involving seller financing and a back-to-back Spanish tax lease structure, including negotiation of key financing and transactional documents.
  • Assisted on the acquisition of three rig-owning companies, each holding a contracted jack-up drilling rig, involving multi-jurisdictional issues, regulatory consents and complex legal and financial due diligence.
  • Acted for lender on the financing of a luxury expedition yacht, advising on English law security, negotiating step-in rights, assigning refund guarantees and design contracts, and coordinating with the builder and local counsel.
