About me
I’m a legal director in our Health Litigation team, specialising in defending clinical negligence claims against the NHS. My particular expertise is in defending claims brought against GPs, private doctors and dentists.
The litigation process can be daunting, so I like to approach each case by focusing on the human experience behind it, taking the time to explain the process in layman’s terms and reassure clients that they have our support. My clients are busy professionals, so it’s important that I make things as easy as possible for them while ensuring I have the evidence needed.
I consider myself as approachable and responsive to my clients’ needs, someone who provides sound advice and can be trusted implicitly with their legal issues. It helps that a number of my own family members work in the medical profession, so I have added insight into many of the issues they can face.
Outside of work, I take an active role in EDI issues and sit on the Liverpool Law Society’s EDI committee, as well as being the Society's Deputy Vice President. I also sit on The Law Society’s EDIC.
