About me
As a partner and head of the firm’s Regulatory team, I have a national remit but with personal specialisms in risk, regulation and compliance, prosecutions and investigations.
My clients are mainly large corporates and larger SME businesses and, within that group, I focus on energy and utilities, retail, manufacturing and industrials and transport and logistics.
Advising clients in an area of law I genuinely love is very rewarding – the range of matters I advise on spans corporate manslaughter; health and safety; environmental liabilities; food safety; trading law, product safety and recalls, as well as advertising and marketing compliance and bribery and corruption.
Regulatory issues often involve very technical concepts and complicated procedures that are definitely not ‘business as usual’ situations for most clients. My broad experience and relatable approach to regulatory issues means I can help clients with almost any regulatory issue they may face. Clients say they value my down-to-earth approach and the fact that I help them navigate regulatory complexities very quickly and in a straightforward manner.
I like to be supportive of younger professionals balancing work with young children and have previously talked about the challenges facing working dads at Andy’s Man’s Club.
