About me
As a Senior Associate in Hill Dickinson’s Singapore Shipping team, I specialise in international dispute resolution across the shipping, marine and commodities sectors.
This involves advising shipowners, charterers, traders and their insurers on a wide range of contentious matters, including proceedings before the English High Court and international arbitration under various institutional rules.
I have extensive experience in charterparty and bill of lading disputes covering issues relating to redelivery, crane breakdowns, underperformance, laytime and demurrage, off-hire and cargo damage claims. My experience also includes handling casualty matters as container loss, fires and salvage operations.
In addition to my dispute resolution work, I advise clients on non-contentious matters, including vessel sale and purchase transactions.
Having previously worked in-house with a Danish shipowner and operator, I combine strong commercial perspective with practical legal advice to help clients reach swift and effective resolutions. Clients value my responsive, dependable and solution-oriented approach. I aim to simplify complex situations and deliver practical outcomes aligned with clients’ commercial objectives.
