About me

My role is to help clients navigate complex scenarios and areas of law so they can secure positive outcomes in legal proceedings. I represent NHS bodies and independent healthcare providers.

For me, getting to know the client inside and out is crucial. Doing so allows me to gain a good grasp of their circumstances and the challenges they face, so I can provide the right level of support.

My knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 truly sets me apart, while I also handle matters relating to the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Children Act 1989. I often advise on complex cases where all three acts are involved. I also support on inquests, judicial reviews and commissioning related issues.

I’m proud to hold Higher Rights of Audience, enabling me to provide urgent advocacy and High Court representation at short notice, ensuring clients receive support when it matters most.

Sharing knowledge to help others is a priority for me. I deliver training on key areas like the Mental Health Act 1983, Mental Capacity Act 2005, safeguarding and policies. I also help plan seminars on topics including MCA/DoLS and mental health, as well as attend open evenings and law fairs.
