About me

An associate in the Shipping Finance team in our Hong Kong office, I advise banks, leasing companies and shipowners on a wide range of transactional matters. These include secured loan facilities, sale and leaseback transactions and vessel sale and purchase.

My experience spans cross-border financings and restructurings involving both newbuild and second-hand vessels. I have acted on large-scale transactions involving multiple jurisdictions and stakeholders, including sustainability-linked loans and fleet-wide leasing arrangements for bulk carriers, tankers and LPG vessels.

My approach is solutions-focused and commercially grounded. I’m valued for my attention to detail, responsiveness, and ability to manage complex timelines under pressure. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, I regularly work across diverse international markets and aim to make the process clear and efficient to help clients complete deals with confidence. I hold dual law and business degrees from the University of Hong Kong.

My experience

  • Advised a Chinese leasing company on a sale and leaseback transaction of two newbuilding bulk carriers valued at about US$53 million.
  • Advised a Singaporean leasing company on a sale and leaseback transaction of three second-hand LPG carriers valued at about US$73 million.
  • Advised a syndicate of banks in respect of a secured sustainability linked term loan facility of up to US$85 million for the financing of five second-hand wood chips carriers.
  • Advised a Vietnamese owner on a series of sale and leaseback transactions involving a total of 10 newbuilding vessels with various Chinese leasing companies.
