About me
I’m a real estate litigator who specialises in landlord and tenant work – including tenant default and lease renewals. I act for high street retailers, NHS trusts, developers and landlords.
I’m a recognised authority on the recovery of commercial rent arrears.
I have extensive experience in advising on and obtaining vacant possession of commercial lease premises – regardless of whether or not there is the benefit of protection under the 1954 Act.
When I work with a client, I collaborate with them to determine what they want and how best to achieve it. Naturally straightforward, I get to the point, giving the clear advice clients need to assess their situation accurately and determine how best to move forward. I enjoy helping clients sort out the pressing property-related issues they face, freeing up their time to focus on the bigger picture.
Helping out in the community is something that matters to me. I was chair of Homebaked Community Land Trust and I’m on the board of the Bluecoat, the UK’s first arts centre.
Outside of work I’m a big fan of music. I have an extensive record collection, which I listen to while cooking good food!
