About me
I’m a senior knowledge lawyer in the global shipping team, working with colleagues to produce informative and insightful content that’s both relevant and useful to clients and others in the industry.
That typically includes high level articles, thought leadership pieces and external publications. Due to the nature of my work, I’m also responsible for keeping our shipping and trade groups fully informed on all legal and regulatory developments within the industry.
My expertise covers both 'dry' and 'wet' shipping, trade and commodities, marine insurance, commercial litigation and international arbitration.
As someone who qualified and previously practised in law for many years before moving into a knowledge management/professional support role in 2009, my colleagues rely on me for my attention to detail, thoroughness and diligence. It’s a role I find rewarding in that I play a large part in driving the publication of content that further reinforces the firm’s considerable expertise in marine and trade.
My experience
- Contributed to many industry publications over the years including Getting the Deal Through Shipping, Shipping Law Review, International Comparative Legal Guide (ICLG), World Arbitration Reporter, the IBA Maritime Law Newsletter, Marine Insurer and Insurance Day.
