About me
I specialise in corporate law, advising clients on equity capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.
My experience covers IPOs, reverse takeovers, secondary fundraisings, acquisitions, disposals, corporate reorganisations and corporate governance matters. I work closely with clients throughout transactions, helping them move opportunities forward to achieve their commercial objectives.
My approach is collaborative, responsive and detail oriented. I enjoy working as part a wider team to keep transactions progressing smoothly and find it particularly rewarding to see a deal through to completion after weeks, and sometimes months, of hard work. Clients would describe me as friendly, approachable and conscientious.
I joined Hill Dickinson straight from sixth form aged 18 and qualified through the firm's degree apprenticeship programme. Progressing from apprentice to lawyer has given me a unique perspective of transactions having worked at every level of the deal process - from the core foundational work to the more complex matters I now handle. As a result, I combine technical expertise with a practical understanding of what it takes to get a deal done.
Drawing on my own experience, I regularly visit schools and colleges to promote legal apprenticeships and share my career journey.
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me planning my next trip, in the garden or spending time with my golden retriever. I also have a tendency to take on ambitious projects, most recently renovating our home and planning our wedding.
