About me
As well as being a Partner, I head up Hill Dickinson’s Banking and Finance team. With over 30 years’ experience advising on real estate finance, corporate lending and project finance, I act for major banks and borrower clients across sectors – from property development to higher education and healthcare.
Clients value my down-to-earth, solutions-led approach. I advise institutions such as NatWest, Santander, HSBC, Lloyds and Arbuthnot Latham, as well as borrower clients including universities, care home operators and even Chester Zoo.
Recent work includes a £500 million co-living scheme, a £150 million club facility in the healthcare sector and multi-lender funding of care home portfolios.
Alongside my client work, I serve as the firm’s long-standing training principal. Seeing our trainees grow into partners, especially within my team, remains a career highlight.
A Tranmere Rovers fan through and through, my most memorable trips are to Wembley. If I wasn’t a lawyer, running a football club would be my dream.
