About me
I lead Hill Dickinson’s Health Commercial and Regulatory team, advising NHS bodies, independent healthcare providers and international clients on complex joint ventures, acquisitions, outcomes-based contracts and new care models.
I’ve worked closely with clients for over 26 years, navigating intricate legal frameworks, balancing strategic insight with commercial pragmatism.
Long-term relationships and trusted partnerships sit at the heart of my practice. Clients value my ability to simplify the complex; and deliver clear, actionable advice even in high-pressure environments. I like to bring a calm, collaborative approach to understanding each client’s priorities, thinking creatively where needed, and working closely with colleagues across disciplines to deliver sustainable outcomes.
I regularly speak at international events on value-based healthcare and contracting models, which also gives me a global perspective that extends beyond my day-to-day. Anyone who knows me, knows running is my passion and I’ve completed more than 28 marathons, including all six World Marathon Majors.
My experience
- I’ve advised on integrated care pathway models, including NHS Lambeth’s first alliance contract, the 100k Genome Project, and North Central London’s Value-Based commissioning programme as well as work with international healthcare systems.
- I’ve worked with consultants and economists on system redesigns in Jersey and the Middle East, focusing on Value-Based care, data use, and IP strategy.
- I’ve advised on NHS New Care Models, developing primary and community care services with hospitals as well as advice on Accountable Care Organisations and Accountable Care for pathfinders in the NHS.
- Since 2020, I’ve worked with NHS England on new care models for tertiary mental health services, including alliance development, contracting and procurement.
- I regularly speak on Value-Based healthcare, contracts, ACOs, and telehealth – presenting in the UK and internationally at events like ICHOM, Arab Health, Mecomed and Medica.
- I have served as Vice President of the European Association of Value-Based Healthcare.
