About me

I specialise in employment law, acting predominantly for public sector clients, including NHS trusts and NHS England, with some work undertaken for commercial clients and individual employees.

I assist healthcare organisations by helping guide them through some of their most sensitive employment challenges, including whistleblowing and complex discrimination claims. I understand the legal and reputational risks these issues carry, and I offer advice tailored to their needs and grounded in the real-world pressures my clients face.

What I value most about my work is building strong, trusting relationships where clients feel comfortable and confident in the advice they’re receiving. Knowing that I’ve helped make a difficult process clearer or less daunting for someone is what makes the job meaningful to me.

Prior to qualifying, I graduated with an LLB (Hons) from the University of Sheffield, including a year abroad at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands, where I studied International Law. I love to travel to exotic places whenever I can and enjoy playing Netball in my free time.

My experience

  • Advised an NHS Trust on a high-profile whistleblowing case involving allegations of patient safety concerns, managing the employment law aspects alongside reputational risk. The matter attracted media attention, requiring careful coordination with internal teams and external communications to protect the organisation’s position.
  • Delivered training and policy reviews for healthcare clients on key legal updates and developments and equality and diversity, helping to strengthen internal governance and reduce legal risk.
  • Advised executive non-departmental public body in a complex disability discrimination claim brought by a senior clinician, and requiring strategic handling of internal processes and external litigation.
  • Drafted and advised a range of employees, including senior professionals in the healthcare and commercial sectors, on settlement agreements.
