About me

I specialise in employment law, advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters. My work includes supporting clients with employment tribunal claims (such as discrimination and unfair dismissal), day-to-day HR advice, drafting contracts and policies and assisting on mergers and acquisitions.

Supporting a broad range of clients, from large PLCs and national organisations, to local SMEs and individual claimants, my aim is to offer clear pragmatic advice that helps clients navigate complex issues and work towards commercially sound outcomes.

I’m known for being personable, approachable and a strong communicator. I believe in building trusted relationships grounded in clarity and responsiveness. I find real fulfilment in being a reliable source of support during challenging HR moments, knowing that my advice can make a difference.

I’m a member of Hill Dickinson’s Multicultural Network, regularly helping organise events that promote diversity and inclusion. I also support the firm’s Schools’ Outreach Programme and external mentoring schemes, helping to widen access to the legal profession – something I’m incredibly passionate about.

In addition, I deliver free online training sessions for junior HR professionals, helping to build confidence and understanding around employment law in a practical way.

My experience

  • Member of the Employment Lawyers Association, regularly attending networking events and employment law training sessions to support my professional development.
  • Provided ongoing support on the employment aspects of 7IM’s acquisition of Rockhold Asset Management, contributing to a deal that brought 7IM’s assets under management to over £10 billion.
  • Pursued a claim for constructive unfair dismissal and pregnancy discrimination, resulting in a successful settlement for the claimant.
  • Assisted the Manchester Corporate team in advising Xeinadin on its acquisition of three Haines Watts offices in Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Hessle.
  • Assisted in successfully defending a claim for unfair dismissal and disability discrimination brought against a client in the medical reporting and healthcare services sector.
  • Assisting with the ongoing defence of an employment tribunal claim involving a heavily unionised employer and complex trade union disputes over pay negotiations.
