I advise on everything from day-to-day HR queries to complex tribunal litigation. I work with HR professionals, schools, colleges, SMEs, PLCs, owner-managed businesses and senior executives.
Clients often describe me as pragmatic, knowledgeable and a trusted advisor. Taking a down-to-earth approach, I deliver clear, actionable advice, informed by my extensive technical knowledge and tailored to the client’s unique situation, so they know exactly how best to move forward.
I build long-term relationships, based on trust and responsiveness, so I can support my clients whatever the future may bring. Helping clients resolve particularly difficult challenges and empowering them to manage their workforces with confidence is something I find incredibly rewarding.
Supporting my clients, colleagues and communities in whatever way I can truly matters to me. I deliver training and speak at employment law seminars and HR forums, as well as mentor junior lawyers, get involved with wellbeing initiatives in the workplace and take part in charity events.
My experience
- Member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
- Led a mass settlement agreement project for a public sector client, advising nearly 400 employees in a short timeframe.
- Defended a whistleblowing claim for a charity client, securing a costs award for unreasonable conduct.
- Represented a large PLC in a successful discrimination appeal at the Court of Appeal.
- Delivered mock tribunal training in partnership with ACAS as part of a national training programme.
- Advised a large PLC on multiple Employment Tribunal claims involving complex worker status issues.
- Successfully defended a claim brought by a serial litigant with over 200 previous claims.
