About me
I’m a primary care specialist who leads our Primary Care team.
I work with general practice clients at practice, neighbourhood, federation and system levels, as well as NHS providers and private and independent healthcare sector clients.
My approach is to be a trusted advisor who acts as an extension of the team. I get to the crux of an issue quickly, so I can provide the clear, tailored advice clients need to achieve their goals.
My expertise in primary care is extensive, giving me the ability to guide clients through the complexities of the developing healthcare system. I have a background in corporate law, allowing me to provide commercial, pragmatic, innovative solutions clients can use to support their people and patients.
My understanding of the NHS, and ability to explain complex contracting and commissioning models, set me apart, giving me insight to help clients navigate the intricacies of the sector.
As a thought leader in primary care, I work alongside clients to create new and innovative models to help general practice survive and thrive during these challenging times.
I also take part in a school mentoring programme and coach local children in sports.
My experience
- Establishing some of the first GP federation-led Multi Neighbourhood Provider models.
- Supporting 16 practices with the development of a single Neighbourhood utilising the Federation as a delivery vehicle which has in turn evolved to play a leading role in the Neighbourhood Health Service across its locality.
- Developing a General Practice Leadership Group into the system on behalf of 19 PCNs including membership from the LMC and Federation.
- Developing a cross-Place General Practice governance model to facilitate attendance at ICB/provider collaborative.
- Developing a bespoke model for delivery of primary care through a single Special Purpose Vehicle across the North West.
- Establishing and continuing to support a Primary Care Organisation, with a membership of 16 PCNs/95 individual practices including the development of its constitution, strategic estates model and commercial contracts.
