As a partner in our Leeds office, I specialise in public procurement and contract law, with over 20 years’ experience across the health and logistics sectors. My focus is on helping organisations navigate complex procurement challenges and deliver commercially effective, compliant solutions.
With deep in-house experience, including as a legal director at DHL, I bring a uniquely practical and strategic perspective to both public and private sector clients. From leading multi-billion-pound NHS procurement projects to advising bidders and contracting authorities on all aspects of procurement, I provide legal support that translates directly into operational success.

My experience
- As legal director I was responsible and accountable for all legal matters for public sector across the DHL Supply Chain (DSC) portfolio including negotiation of public sector contracts. I provided commercial and strategic legal advice on high-value and high-profile public sector opportunities. My responsibilities included the successful management of external counsel work, including external spend. I regularly advised C-suite stakeholders on commercial strategy, and management of risk covering operational, financial, legal and reputational matters. Throughout this time, I also advised the DSC business on high value and often complex private sector warehousing and distribution contracts in the healthcare sector.
- Head of Legal for DSC NHS Supply Chain Business with £10bn spend and delivered savings to the NHS of over £1 billion over the contract term. I managed and led the dedicated legal team and responsibility for supporting the entire NHS Supply Chain Business. I led the drafting and analysis of a wide range of complex multi-million/billion-pound procurement and commercial documents ensuring the strategic delivery of key products and services to the NHS while working to critical timescales.
- Prior to joining DHL, I trained and worked at international law firms advising on a wide range of commercial and procurement matters.
