About me

I’m a consultant with over 30 years’ experience.

I’m highly knowledgeable in all aspects of corporate finance law, especially buying and selling companies and providing strategic advice to boards of directors. I work with companies of varying sizes, from listed PLCs through to owner-managed businesses.

My role is to ensure clients have the insight and expertise they need to achieve their commercial ambitions, whether that’s advising on strategy, taking the time to explain complex matters clearly or letting clients know which team member is best placed to provide support.

I’m a proactive person and I like to problem-solve. It’s always satisfying when I get to think up creative workarounds to pressing issues, ensuring the transaction completes on schedule.

I like to get to know my clients inside and out, building a deep understanding of who they are and what they do, while paying close attention to the nuances relevant to their business. This has served me well, allowing me to foster long-term relationships with many clients throughout my career.

I’m also the vice chair of the board of trustees of Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and a trustee of EFC’s charity, Everton in the Community.
