About me
I’m a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Litigation team, dealing with the full spectrum of property-related disputes both on an advisory basis and in relation to actual or potential litigation. The matters I deal with typically range from all forms of disputes between commercial landlord and tenants, to development-related issues involving restrictive covenants, nuisance, contractual issues and easements.
A particular specialism of mine is dilapidations, and those disputes include high-value disputes with multiple experts down to much smaller claims. I’ve also had the benefit of acting on some of the biggest dilapidations cases of recent years. That almost unique experience benefits both the high-value and small disputes where the heart of the dispute often needs to be quickly identified and an alternative, more creative approach is called for to achieve a good outcome.
Where used appropriately, I’m a strong advocate of mediation as a cost-effective way to resolve disputes.
My clients are primarily property investors and corporate occupiers, but also developers, promotors and high net worth individuals. Much of my work is for longstanding and repeat clients who appreciate my commerciality, responsiveness and in-depth knowledge in my field.
Outside of work, alongside enjoying time with my family, I’m a keen (some would say obsessive) cyclist and part-time runner.
