About me
I’m an asset finance specialist, with a particular focus on shipping and aviation. My practice spans the broad spectrum of finance and leasing transactions. I’m experienced in advising on cross-border, cross-disciplinary transactions involving a wide array of ‘moveable’ assets such as conventional vessels, container boxes, LNG carriers, cruise ships, commercial aircraft and business jets.
The kinds of clients I support range from high-net-worth individuals to operators and financiers, and throughout my career, I’ve worked with most of the leading PRC leasing houses and yards.
The client sits at the centre of everything I do. Commercially minded and efficient, I look at the transaction from all angles, provide the robust legal solution clients need to achieve their commercial ambitions, and then remain on hand to support in whatever way is necessary.
Based in London and Hong Kong, I’m bi-lingual and have the local knowledge to help clients deftly navigate the legal landscapes in both jurisdictions. I’m also a Notary Public with an active practice, so I can support with document and transaction verification across borders.

- Represented a prominent PRC airline in its sale of three aircrafts to a UK operator.
- Represented various high net worth individuals in the sale and purchase of corporate jets.
- Represented a PRC bank on the pre- and post-financing of three PCTCs.
- Represented a PRC leasing house on the sale and leaseback of two bulkers with standby charter structure.
