I specialise in employment law and business immigration, advising healthcare clients on contentious and non-contentious matters.
I represent employers in complex Employment Tribunal litigation, including appeals, involving unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, breach of contract and wage disputes.
Alongside litigation, I provide support on employee relations issues such as recruitment, disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, and sickness management. I also support with corporate matters including advising on TUPE exercises, carrying out of due diligence and preparing contractual documentation.
Within business immigration, I regularly advise clients on right to work checks, sponsor licence applications, compliance audits and related employment concerns.
I regularly deliver training to HR and management teams on compliance and employee relations issues.
My approach is proactive and tailored, I take time to understand each client’s culture, pressures and priorities, and aim to be a trusted advisor, collaborating across teams to deliver joined-up, strategic solutions.

My experience
- Member of the Employment Lawyers Association (ELA) & Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA).
- Successfully defended an NHS trust at final hearing against multiple claims, including direct and indirect disability discrimination, pregnancy discrimination, failure to make reasonable adjustments, victimisation and unlawful deduction of wages.
- Represented an NHS trust in a long-running employment dispute, secured deposit orders and negotiated a non-financial settlement of a neutral references to avoid significant costs.
- Supported a PCN client to secure an A-rated sponsor licence after their initial self-submitted application was rejected.
- Prepared UK-compliant contractual documentation and policies and provided strategic advice to a Finnish health-tech company establishing operations in the UK.
- Supported a national NHS body on the transfer of services from a mix of public and private providers, including drafting a commissioning agreement with TUPE and pensions schedules.
