Our Corporate team has advised Platinum Independent Financial Services Ltd (Platinum IFS) on the sale of the business to Absolute Financial Group, the Inflexion and Tatton Asset Management-backed independent financial adviser consolidator.
Platinum IFS, based in Sale, Greater Manchester, is an established independent financial advisory business with approximately £280 million of Assets Under Advice (AUA) and a team of 15 employees. The transaction represents the latest acquisition by Absolute Financial Group as it continues to expand its presence across the UK, particularly in the North West.
Following completion, Platinum IFS's office and all employees will remain with the business, ensuring continuity for clients while benefitting from the additional operational, compliance and strategic support available through the wider Absolute platform. The acquisition increases Absolute's total Assets Under Advice to £2.68 billion.
