Our Equity Capital Markets team has recently advised Cairn Financial Advisers and Hannam & Partners on a placing carried out by Helix Exploration plc, to support ongoing commercialisation and capacity expansion activities at its flagship Rudyard Project in the United States.
The placing raised gross proceeds of £2.2 million from investors via an accelerated bookbuild process. Hannam & Partners acted as sole bookrunner and broker in connection with the fundraise.
Helix’s Rudyard Project in Montana is developing several proven helium wells that can produce high grade gas and generate strong early revenues for the company. The site holds significant helium reserves and the company has recently announced the successful commencement of helium production.
The team advising on the transaction was led by Partner Sam Hudson, with assistance from Senior Associate Natalia Fryda and Solicitor Apprentice Millicent Baveystock.
