Commercial law firm Hill Dickinson has advised the shareholders of AMS Accountants Group Ltd (“AMS Group”) on a private equity-backed transaction with Macquarie Capital. The investment is set to accelerate AMS Group’s buy-and-build strategy.

Manchester-headquartered AMS Group is an accounting and advisory firm providing services across a range of sectors, from owner-managed businesses to high-growth start-ups and established medium-sized enterprises.

The investment marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey, supporting its continued expansion through investments in technology and advisory solutions that align with the evolving needs of AMS Group’s clients across the UK and beyond.

Partner Ian Gillis led for Hill Dickinson’s Corporate team on the provision of legal advice to AMS Group’s shareholders, together with partner Alison Starr, legal director Tamanna Keir and associates James McCarthy and Hahmiz Butt.

We are delighted to have advised AMS Group’s shareholders, Ebrahim Sidat and David Clegg on an investment that has the potential to transform their company’s future.
