Law firm Hill Dickinson has advised Main Market-listed East Star Resources plc (LSE: EST) in relation to a successful fundraising pursuant to which the company raised £1.16 million from a combined placing and direct subscriptions.
The fundraising was conditional upon the publication of an FCA-approved prospectus. The company announced the publication of the prospectus and admission occurred on 16 October 2024.
East Star Resources is focused on the discovery and development of copper and other strategic minerals required for the energy revolution. The company has several exploration licences across three mineral-rich districts of Kazakhstan.
East Star’s most advanced project is a copper deposit on the world-class Rudny Altai VMS Belt where the company delivered a JORC-compliant inferred resource. The proceeds of the fundraising will be used to advance the development of this project.
The Hill Dickinson team was led by corporate partner Jack Delaney with the support of Sanne Gerdsen (Associate) and Elly Falbo (Paralegal).
