Hill Dickinson advises GENDA Inc. on proposed acquisition of UK holiday parks business from Inspired Entertainment

Law firm Hill Dickinson has successfully advised GENDA Inc. – the Global Entertainment Network for Dreams and Aspiration - on its proposed acquisition of Inspired Entertainment’s UK holiday parks business and associated leisure assets.

GENDA is a global entertainment company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange that aims to increase the “total amount of fun” distributed around the world. It operates a wide range of businesses in entertainment, such as amusement arcades, karaoke and character merchandising. GENDA currently operates in Japan, the United States, mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, the Netherlands and Canada.

The Hill Dickinson team was led by corporate partner Ian Gillis and legal director James Redshaw, with assistance from Amelia Chung (associate) in the Corporate team. They were supported by Jon Pearson-Basudev (Property), Aoife Ryan (Regulatory) and Padma Tadi-Booth (Employment).
