Merseyside based Parity Medical, a leading supplier of medical products and support services to the NHS and private healthcare systems in the UK and Ireland, has been acquired by US manufacturer Touchpoint, Inc, parent company of TouchPoint Medical.
The deal sees Parity Medical join TouchPoint’s healthcare platform, which focuses on developing customer-driven solutions to securely mobilise medical technology and manage medication dispensing in a way that creates safer and more efficient healthcare environments. Together, the two companies will offer a range of highly complementary products, talent, services and channels to market.

Parity Medical has an excellent reputation in the UK and Ireland for the quality of its healthcare products and services. This acquisition provides significant benefits for both parties, expanding the TouchPoint platform’s overall service offering while giving Parity the resource it needs to achieve further growth. It’s been a pleasure to work with the team at Parity, alongside Pete Terry and Chris Ryan of Grant Thornton, to help bring this deal to a successful conclusion.Matt Noon
