Commercial law firm Hill Dickinson has advised the shareholders of MIS Active Management Systems (MIS AMS), a software provider to the social housing sector, on the sale of the company to Aareon Group, which is backed by leading global alternative asset manager TPG.
Based in Northwich, Cheshire, MIS AMS has provided housing management software solutions to the social housing market for over 40 years, with customers ranging in size from 70 to over 80,000 homes.
Aareon Group is a leading software provider for property management in Europe and the UK, with Aareon UK dedicated to digital transformation for the social housing industry. The Group also provides best in class solutions to the private real estate and property management markets.
The bringing together of the two companies is set to open up new opportunities to accelerate innovation, enhance product offering and further improve their combined customer base with future-ready technology and services.
