Law firm Hill Dickinson’s Liverpool Corporate team has advised prominent Manchester fashion brand I Saw It First on its sale to Fraser Group for an undisclosed sum.
Frasers Group, the company behind Sports Direct and House of Fraser, has acquired I Saw It First just two months after it moved to rescue online fashion brand Missguided out of administration at the start of June.
The addition of I Saw It First to the Group’s portfolio will see integration of the two fashion businesses which will further benefit from the strength and scale of Frasers Group’s platform.
Corporate partner Mike Jones and apprentice solicitor Nick O’Shaughnessy advised the shareholders of I Saw It First on the disposal of the company to Frasers Group.
I Saw It First has grown rapidly since its digital launch in 2017. Its acquisition by Frasers Group is a logical next step that will provide the brand with the potential to reach new target audiences. We were pleased to work with the I Saw It First shareholders in achieving a sale that promises potentially significant benefits for all involved.Mike Jones

Greg Pateras, chief executive officer, I Saw It First, added:
“Mike and Nick were great to deal with on the transaction and a massive part of us enabling completion to take place. They provided really good commercial and practical advice and were a key part of our deal team on what was an important transaction for both parties.”
I Saw It First has more than five million customers and has previously worked with contestants and influencers from ITV’s Love Island.
