We’re pleased to have advised private equity investor Founders Private Capital (FPC) on a multimillion-pound investment in the fast-growing passive fire protection provider, Holistic Fire Safety.
The significant investment will allow Lincolnshire-based Holistic to build a national multi-service offering and, specifically, to expand its offering to the social housing sector and local authorities, both in terms of services and geographical presence.
North-East based FPC, which launched earlier this year, has £87 million of funds earmarked for investment in UK founder-led companies. The new private equity firm, headed up by Ravi Sharma, consists of a collection of entrepreneurs who have successfully scaled and exited their own businesses, raising private equity funding along the way.
Corporate partner David Mkhitarian and legal director James Redshaw provided legal advice to FPC, with support from Matt Boyer and Rachel Faulconbridge.
We’re delighted to be advising FPC on one of the firm’s first investments since forming earlier this year. It’s an exciting time for FPC and a great asset for businesses seeking investment to help execute their buy-and-build strategies. The investment in Holistic Fire Safety is a great fit, and we look forward to seeing how the next chapter for both parties unfolds.James Redshaw

FPC invests £2 million to £20 million per transaction, bringing both capital and first-hand experience of growth and scale-up challenges.
